Miami is a global city at Florida’s southeastern tip. Its Cuban impact is reflected in the bistros and stogie shops that line Calle Ocho in Little Havana. On boundary islands over the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay is Miami Beach, home to South Beach. This charming neighborhood is celebrated around the world for its bright craftsmanship deco structures, white sand, surfside lodgings and trendsetting clubs.

My personal experience:

The three day weekend has passed! Pools are open, bathing suits are popping, and all white outfits are glowing. That’s all i recently seen this past weekend in Miami. I met people from all over the country in Miami this weekend, California, Georgia, New York, The Carolinas, Texas, you name it!

WHY do people love coming to Miami for Memorial Weekend? Let’s start with the weather. This whole weekend the weather was sunny and around 85-90 degrees. You can’t beat that..

If you’re 21, you can go any and everywhere and if you’re a female you may be the lucky one and can get in for free!

Wynwood, South Beach, Coconut Grove, Brickell, Downtown Miami, those are just a few of the hot spots down here.

I recently turned 21 and I live outside of Miami so I have the advantage of not having to book a flight or hotel, all I need to do is drive my car or catch a Uber/Lyft (which sometimes is safer).

I checked out South Beach, Wynwood, and Brickell and unless you are fine with dealing with everything being jam packed you may get overwhelmed! I was raised in a small state so being in this city for Memorial Weekend was new to me, but I still enjoyed my time!

The hot spots were: SideBar Miami, Fat Tuesdays, BrickHouse, Bully’s, and Voodoo Rooftop in my opinion! I’d love to have them all featured on here.

For my friends who did come down the average cost for hotel was between 120-500 a night, this all depends how many people you came with, when you booked the hotel, and location.

Always check for good deals here: http://booking.com or even http://hoteltonight.com

Overall, I think Miami was a great fit for Memorial Weekend, let’s see how Fourth of July plays out!
